Tech, Prep, and Last-Minute Checks

Password Check

If you haven’t logged in to your Comic-Con Member ID account for some time now, let’s say since Comic-Con Special Edition or WonderCon 2022, you may be prompted to update your password (see image below). We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have logged in fairly recently, we still recommend you double check that you can log in to your Member ID so that come the day of sales, you don’t have any delay in getting into the waiting room. If you’re eligible for Returning Registration, you’ll need to log in to your account to participate!

Email Check

To prevent any difficulties on the day of Returning Registration, log in to your Member ID account prior to October 15, and check under your name in the upper left hand corner. If you’re not using the most up-to-date email for yourself, you can update your email address under “My Account Information.”

Credit Card Information

To make sure that your check out process is effortless, we recommend you go into your Member ID account before October 15 and save your credit card information ahead of the sale. If you participate in Returning Registration and are selected for a registration session, you will have 15 minutes total to complete your badge purchase. Having your credit card information pre-saved is ideal and could save you a few precious minutes. For visual guidance in saving your card information, follow the steps below:

Approved and Tested Browsers

The Queue-it waiting room and badge registration system have been tested on the browsers listed below:

  • Firefox: Latest Version
  • Google Chrome: Latest Version
  • Internet Explorer: Version 11 Only
  • Safari: Latest Version
  • Microsoft EDGE: Latest Version

Before October 15, make sure that your browser is up to date. These browsers, having been tested, will generate the easiest and smoothest results. Additionally, we cannot guarantee your results should you use a browser not listed above.

Devices

We strongly encourage you to use a laptop or desktop computer. The badge registration system is not formatted for iPad, tablets, or mobile devices. Comic-Con is unable to guarantee that the registration system will behave as expected using a mobile device.

Power Saving Settings

To make sure that your computer doesn’t go to sleep while in the waiting room or registration process, please be sure your computer’s settings are changed so that your screen doesn’t go black mid-purchase! If for some reason you do get kicked out of the waiting room because your computer decides to take a nap, don’t worry, simply log back in to your Member ID account to rejoin the waiting room. You will be returned to the same spot in line as you were in before.

Don’t Refresh!

Resist the urge to refresh your browser! The Queue-it waiting room will automatically refresh every 30 seconds. Refreshing your browser in the waiting room may cause technical difficulties.

Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration will take place on October 15. Take a moment to run through these checks and, if you’re eligible to participate, you’ll be fully prepared for the badge sale this Saturday! For more information, read through our Returning Registration page.
