Google Palestine site defaced to display political message

Google’s localized Palestine site has been defaced by hackers. The Hackteach group is taking credit for the breach. A message posted to the site reads: uncle google we say hi from palestine to remember you that the country in google map not called israel. its called Palestine Earlier this year, Google updated its Palestinian search engine to display ”Palestine” instead of ”Palestinian Territories”. The company made the changes to fall in line with a UN change of status that re-classified Palestine as a non-member observer instead of an entity. Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 Octa-Core phone now available in the US (AT&T compatible)

Samsung makes two versions of the Galaxy S4 smartphone. Up until now the only version available in the US has been powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, while folks in some other markets have been able to pick up a model with a Samsung Exynos 5210 Octa-core processor. Now you can get the Octa-core version in the US as well. Newegg is selling an unlocked, AT&T-compatible version of the phone for $620 (although you can get $30 off with the coupon code EMCYTZT3998). This model doesn’t have LTE capabilities, but it should work with AT&T’s 3G network in the US. It’ll also work on T-Mobile’s network, but you’ll be limited to slower 2…

News: Original Hardcover Volume One and Two Limited Editions

Clearing through some boxes a few weeks ago, I came across one in particular that I thought contained paperback Volume Three. In fact, it held an old personal stash of the original hardcovers for Volume One and Two, from back in 2005. Given that I clearly didn’t remember that I had these, and I have my own copies, I’m going to make these available to anyone that wants to pick them up. These are extremely limited in quantity; I have nineteen copies of Volume One, and nine copies of Volume Two. These books feature the original covers, and there will never, ever, be more of these printed. These are just leftovers from the 2005 run. Dini’s “Black Canary/Zatanna” Graphic Novel Scheduled For 2014

Now, this is very cool. Paul Dini’s “Black Canary/Zatanna” graphic novel, which has been in the works for some time now, has been schedule for a May 2014 release, as ComicsAlliance revealed. Originally stated to feature art from Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, it seems that when it releases it will feature art from Joe Quinones. Quinones, as you probably know, has been killing it on “Captain Marvel” covers and will likely do a magnificent job on the book.
