ALLDEFS X MEMA for Pop Toy Show Singapore 2024

ALLDEFS X MEMA are two Filipino artists based in Dubai whose combined works vary from street art, art toys, tattoos, graphics, clothing, and other collectibles. Together they will helm Booth AE85 at Pop Toy Show Singapore 2024 (Aug 23-25, 2024), and I look forward to their toy-art, especially @mema_studiodxb‘s, having noticed his creations during ToyConUK (but not featured on the blog), which embodied a familiar blend of an apocalyptic cyberpunk flavour and the urban streets of 2000s “Hong Kong” (ala Lau and So), IMHO…!

ALLDEFS (@all.defs) is a Filipino artist based in Dubai known for mixing shapes and characters. Regarded as one of the pillars of Philippine street art, his works adorned public walls, galleries, and museums worldwide, expanding his art from Adidas Originals stores in Manila to Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood in UAE.

MEMA (@mema_studiodxb) is a Dubai-based artist and architect known for his custom art toys inspired by dystopian and pop culture. A key figure in Dubai’s design scene since 2012, he showcased his works at international events like Project Mega and ToyCon UK. He is also an accomplished tattoo artist and graphic designer.
