Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers is engaged!!!
The 32-year-old former star of the Bravo reality series got engaged last week to her beau Alex Williams, People revealed.
Alex popped the question with a four carat Nicole Rose Jewelry diamond ring in NYC last Wednesday (September 25) with the help of her parents and weeks of planning.

“Olivia has such an incredible group of friends, from elementary school through to college, and she’s very close with her parents, so I knew involving them somehow would mean a lot to her. I wanted her to feel all the love and the excitement in the world from the surprise of her loved ones,” Alex gushed to People. “Her mom Robin had the idea to propose while the four of us would be in New York together, for the Project Lyme Gala Olivia was speaking at.”
Alex started planning the proposal in early September when she left their Dallas home for New York Fashion Week, where he then flew to Charleston, South Carolina, to ask her parents for permission!
However, a United Nations meeting in NYC put a small wrench in his proposal plans, but the hotel was accommodating and her brand manager helped with making Olivia think she was going for a photo shoot.
By the afternoon of the proposal, everything was set in place and at 3pm ET, they went up to a hotel room where a photographer was waiting!
“He is my biggest hype man when it comes to helping me with content so this didn’t seem weird to me, just like a sweet gesture…. he actually got my social media manager involved so I thought this was a brand deal, so I was in work mode,” Olivia shared.
“Next thing I know, Alex is getting grabbing a box out of his sports coat and dropping a knee… then I drop my phone,” she joked to People. “Alex said, ‘Olivia Barbara Ellen Flowers. You’re the girl of my dreams. Became the love of my life. And I’d like to ask will you marry me?’”
Shortly after he proposed, her parents and nine friends entered the room to celebrate!
After the went back home to Dallas, they had another celebration where both of their parents were in attendance, much to Olivia‘s surprise.
