Thank you all for tuning in on this Wednesday, an absolutely crazy day yesterday in Bachelor Nation. We will discuss all of it. It’ll mostly be about Devin and his Instagram posts and his apologies and his deletions.
So much to go over here. I had other stuff I wanted to talk about, but I have a feeling this is going to take up the full 20 to 25 minutes. I also want to start out by talking about something in regards to the transcripts and what’s coming tomorrow on your weekly podcast, which is actually going to be happening today.
And I’ll let you all in on that and we will get to that momentarily. So few things of note before we get started on all this Devon stuff. Number one, picked up Luca yesterday at the doggie resort. I honestly couldn’t even tell there was anything wrong with her. Nothing changed in her behavior. Obviously she has a cone on now, but looking at her eye, it literally looks like, trust me, I examined both of the eyes.
One eye doesn’t even look puffier than the other. One eye doesn’t look like there was a scratch. I don’t even see any remnants of a scratch. I don’t see anything. She clearly isn’t affected by it now. She isn’t bothered by it. I gave her the eye drops. No problem with that. She took her medicine for it. The anti inflammatories.
I mean, I was expecting to at least see a healing scrape on her eyelid or above her eye around that area. I see nothing. I looked at both eyes like, maybe I’m looking at the wrong eye. They told me it was the left eye. Could they have screwed it up? No, I looked at both eyes. There’s no scratch anywhere. So, I appreciate what the doggie resort did, which was, you know, they didn’t make it up.
She clearly had a scratch on her eyelid. She was bleeding from it. They took her to the vet that did what they needed to do. But it happened on Saturday. I picked her up Tuesday. So maybe it is completely already healed, but I got to leave the cone on for another few days, because they said when it’s in its healing process, which is about three to four days after that’s when you definitely don’t want her touching it.
So, okay. I don’t see any scratch there that she could even be touching, but I’ll listen to the docs on this one. I’ll probably take her cone off after seven days. And still give her the eye drops and the anti inflammatory. So that was great news. She is normal. Yeah. She’s walking around with a cone. She’s still kind of scrapes it against the wall.
Cause she doesn’t realize how wide it is, but that’s expected, but great news all around she’s her normal self, no change in behavior whatsoever. I wanted to bring this up because a couple of you have emailed me about it. Almost getting. Not necessarily calling me out for it, but saying like it’s disrespectful.
And that is the transcripts that I put up on my website every day of the daily roundup. You have to understand something. When I record the daily roundup into an audio file, the thing that you hear in this podcast every morning, what I do is I take that audio file and I just upload it to an AI system that translates it for me.
Once it translates it for me, all I do is copy and paste. And that’s it. I do not proofread it because it would take forever because I know when a put this through an AI translator, there are going to be plenty of misspellings. They’re going to be plenty of periods and commas out of space. You know, in the wrong places, sentences and paragraph cutoffs where it shouldn’t be a paragraph cutoff.
So I don’t have the time to go through that every single day. I just put it in the generator. It spits out the translation for me of that these that day’s daily roundup. I copy and paste it, put it on the site and I put it out there for you to read. Well, what that does is, anytime that there’s a proper name, I’m guessing they’re spelling it wrong.
And a lot of you have said how, you know, disrespectful it is to spell Dotton’s name wrong, or Devin’s name wrong, or whoever from the show. I’m like, I’m not spelling it wrong. I’m not transcribing my own podcast. It’s going through an AI system and AI, not surprising. They don’t know how to spell the name Dotton.
I think they spelled it D O T T E N. It’s like, I don’t, I can’t go through that every single day. You know, I’m posting the transcripts every single day, except when I’m out of town, so you didn’t get one Friday and we’ll get one Monday, but a few of you have emailed me and I’ve written you back and just said, Hey, it’s not me.
I’m obviously it. It’s like they were taking it out on me saying you could at least spell their names, right? I was like, no, this is an AI generated thing that I put my audio file through and it just spits it out. I don’t have time to proofread it and go through all the grammatical errors and all the periods and commas that are in the wrong place.
And the paragraph breaks. I don’t have time for that. So it’s just a, Hey, here you go. This is the transcription because I know a lot of you asked. I don’t listen to podcasts. I would rather read it. So there, I give it to you and. Still, I get that. Just know that that is not any sort of blatant disrespect on my part where I’m spelling their names wrong on purpose.
No, not it at all. So I just wanted to make that clear tomorrow’s weekly podcast, because I got back from Vegas late on Monday and I kind of miscalculated next week’s guests. I thought it was happening this week, whatever the case may be. I just didn’t have time to record with anybody today. Or yesterday or today for Thursday’s podcast.
So what we’re going to do is this Dave, Neil, and I are going live at 11 a. m. Central time today. On his YouTube channel. And we are going to talk about the Devon stuff. I’ve only seen a few of the screenshots that are in his video that we’re going to get to from yesterday, Dave is going to slowly go through them.
And we’re going to break down a lot of the stuff that he said today on his YouTube channel at 11 a. m. Central time. I guessing a lot of you that work aren’t gonna be able to watch that live. That’s totally fine. What I’m going to do is have Dave send me that video and the audio file. And that is going to be.
This week’s podcast number 408 episode number 408 is just going to be the video from Dave and I today, and the audio file will be your podcast for the week. Next week, we have a dancing with the stars crossing my fingers. I, I don’t think it’s. Not going to happen because her assistant has always been good.
She was good last year and she’s good this year. We’re going to have Cheryl Burke on next week and we already have a time set up. We booked it three weeks ago and she was right on the money last time. So we’re going to get Cheryl on next week, recording that next Wednesday, the day after the dance with the stars premiere.
So it’ll be good to have Cheryl on next Wednesday. We’re recording. It’ll be the podcast number what? 409 next week. Or four Oh eight next week is to tomorrow’s is four Oh seven. I believe I could be off on my numbers. I’m not looking at it, but just know that tomorrow’s weekly podcast is going to be Dave Neal and I on YouTube, his YouTube channel today, and he’s just going to send me the video and the audio file of that.
So just wanted to let you know. So there’s a lot of stuff to talk about in regards to Devin’s 13 minute Instagram video yesterday that, I mean, your guess is as good as mine as to what his goal on this was. I understand that he was saying it’s my side of the story. However, what he presented didn’t seem to really take people’s opinion that Devin is the devil.
Devin is an awful guy and go like, Oh, thank you for that 13 minute video, Devin. Now I totally see it. I didn’t get that impression. I didn’t really understand half of his video. The fact that he had all these text messages between him and Jen running on the screen in the background at warp speed, like. I didn’t understand the point of that because it would have made more sense if he said, here, look at this text where Jen said this, and I said this, and then Jen said this in return.
And I, and he was refuting things that have been said about him. That would have made more sense to me, but that’s not what he did. He started out the video by telling everybody this isn’t meaning to come at Jen at all. I just want to tell my side. And then he proceeded to do 13 minutes where he seemingly was coming at Jen.
So I was just very confused by the whole thing.
The big part about it. And the big part that I have the biggest issue with is the fact that at no point during 13 minutes, did he address the major allegations against him? Devin, who’s the girl in New York you were with two weeks ago? Is she an ex girlfriend? Will you address this?
Jen said, right after the show ended filming, you asked producers, how long do people stay together? Did you say that did Jen make it up at least address it? Even if you’re calling Jenna liar address, you said that that’s what people want to know about. Were there other women involved during these three months that you’ve been accused of?
What about you saying on the, after the final rose, I’m regretfully late in telling Jen about the change of heart in our relationship. Regretfully late. Why don’t you address that part? Now you’ve got more time to think it over. Yes, I understand. It was a live show. You were put on the spot. I get it. Maybe you froze a little bit and you didn’t know what to say and you didn’t know what was going on.
It all came at you so quick. Fine, you just put out a 13 minute video and you addressed none of this stuff. That’s why I’m just like, what was the point of all this? It just didn’t make any sense. The things that the people want to hear, it’s almost like, this was very Laura Owens esque to me. When I sent Laura Owens an email back late 2023, asking her about specific things that happened in the Clayton stuff and specific allegations and specific, specific things that she was saying, I’m like, but, but Laura, you need to explain this.
And then she would just avoid that and talk about what she wanted to talk about. That seemed to be what Devin was doing in this video. He wasn’t addressing the things that the most people out there care about. And I don’t know why. That’s why I’m just, what are we doing with this video? What was the point of this?
To tell your side. I don’t know what your side is. If his whole thing in that video was to say, Well, Jen made it seem like I was out of the relationship from the second cameras stopped rolling. Here’s to show that I wasn’t. The problem was, He was just running texts in the background, screenshots of their text messages, without going into detail.
And then some of the text messages were blacked out and provided no context. We just had to figure it out by reading them. Oh, you were talking about this. Oh, okay. But again, I don’t know if that, that doesn’t prove to me that you were in the relationship 100%. She doesn’t feel like you were address that and he didn’t.
So it was all just a, a hot mess.
